Q&A Sessions

Twitter is also great for Q&A sessions. Set up a hashtag like #AskABCCorp and let your customers know that they can ask any questions they want. Do this at least once a month and you will see your engagement skyrocket.

Find Thought Leaders

Set up a Twitter list of influential people in your industry and see who they are interacting with. Find out what conversations they are having on social media and join in. You can do this with other industries as well.

Focus Your Efforts

You will not be great at all social platforms and that’s okay. Your company may be more suited to one over the others. If you create amazing visual content focus on Instagram. If you are in B2B your efforts should be on LinkedIn.

Use Calls To Action

If you have a huge social following but you never ask them to buy, you have just wasted you time. Social selling only works when you ask your prospects to buy. Use CTA’s sparingly. You don’t want to come off as a spammer.

Have A Signature Move

Be known for one thing on social. Whether it be for humor, photos, or a type of contest. When people know what to expect they will be more likely to engage.

Show Some Personality

Let your individual (or company) personality shine through. People want to engage with you brand but they also want to know there is a person behind the profile.
